Dating from the early 1700's, when it was used by cattle drovers and frequented by the legendary Rob Roy McGregor, the Black Bull is located amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.
The Black Bull Hotel is now the Black Bull Gartmore Hub and Pub and is owned and run by the community. The Community took over the running of the pub on 2nd September 2019 and is currently looking to recruit a Manager. There is a minibus providing a free pick up and drop off service for local campsites and outlying residents on Thursday to Sunday evenings. Fantastic Sunday lunches have just started and a romantic Valentines Night is planned with live music. The Hub and Pub is open every day from 6pm-11pm and food is served from Wednesdays to Sundays. Sunday opening hours for lunches are from 12.30pm. During August, the Black Bull is participating in Eat Out to Help Out so food is available on Monday and Tuesday nights as well. Booking is essential!
